laboratory professionals, psychologists, and medical

diagnostic testing and the full range of treatment options,
including ovulation induction, artificial insemination,
laser surgery, microsurgery, and the full range of ART
technologies. ART services include IVF, donor egg and
gestational carrier procedures, GIFT, ZIFT, ICSI, and
embryo cryopreservation. Sherif G. Awadalla, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
and Michael D. Schreiber are both Board Certified in
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Obstetrics
and Gynecology. Erica J. Behnke, Ph.D., H.C.L.D., is
director of the ART Laboratory. She has directed IVF
and reproductive diagnostic laboratories since completing
her doctorate in 1987, and is Board Certified as a High-Complexity
Clinical Laboratory Director in Andrology, Embryology
and general laboratory practices. Our ART laboratory
is a full-service andrology, embryology, and endocrinology
facility, providing diagnostic testing for fertility,
hormone assays and embryology services. The laboratory's
staff and procedures meet guidelines of the American
Society for Reproductive Medicine/Society for Assisted
